CAES 1890 Scholarship awarded to 23 students for fall semester

Twenty-three incoming freshmen from across North Carolina and the Southeast have joined the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences as CAES 1890 Agricultural Scholars this fall. The CAES 1890 Agricultural Scholars Program, in its first year, provides full tuition, books and software, room and board for up to four years for students pursuing careers in the agricultural sciences.

CAES creates Student Advisory Council

As one of campus’s largest colleges, with a wide array of majors from animal science to horticulture to fashion merchandising, it’s not surprising that it takes more than one building to hold the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. And since the college puts the “A” in A&T, having CAES students spread out around campus may seem like a good idea.
