Making a Way with the EPA

Lara Phelps, director of the U.S. EPA’s Air Methods and Characterization Division (AMCD), speaks to officials at N.C. A&T State University's Farm Pavilion recently during a work group meeting to determine possible collaborative research opportunities between the university and the Environmental Protection Agency. Phelps outlined some avenues for a possible future Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

The EPA is currently led by college alumnus Michael Regan ‘98, whose professor mentor, Godfrey Uzochukwu, Ph.D., is also a part of the work group.
