November 18, 2020

Mohamed Ahmedna, Ph.D.

Dear CAES community,

As we prepare for Thanksgiving, I extend my deepest gratitude to all of you, the thousands of individuals who make the CAES so vibrant. I have much to be thankful for in the midst of this uniquely challenging year.

Thank you, students. I appreciate your passion and your perseverance to overcome the obstacles posed by the global pandemic. Together, we will continue to take the college to new heights.

Thank you, alumni. You are our best ambassadors. I am grateful for your excellence and your devotion to your alma mater.

Thank you, faculty and staff. You have recognized that our expertise and service are needed now more than ever and you have gone above and beyond to serve our state and our students. The dedication you bring to your work – in classrooms and labs and offices, on the farm, and at Extension centers across the state – continues to inspire me.

Thank you, Advisory Board. Your expertise has helped us identify new ways to increase our impact. Your support and wise counsel have been invaluable to me and the college.

I am grateful for each of you. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

In Aggie Pride,

Dean Mohamed Ahmedna
