North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University honored Michael S. Regan ’98, secretary of the N.C. Department of Environmental Quality and an alumnus of the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, with a Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award during Fall Convocation on Oct. 29.

Healthy eating as the semester winds down will get a little easier for some students thanks to a bounty of fall and winter vegetables from the community garden outside Sockwell Hall.

Dear CAES Family, Fall is a beautiful time of year to be on the N.C. A&T campus and at the University Farm, and we hope that you will visit us soon. It’s a time of excitement and change. Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler to campus to take students behind the scenes at the State Fair.
