Sang wins food chemistry award

Shengmin Sang, Ph.D.

Shengmin Sang, Ph.D., distinguished professor for functional foods and human health in the Center for Excellence in Post-Harvest Technologies, is the recipient of the ACS Agricultural and Food Chemistry Division’s 2022 award for Advancement of Application of Agricultural and Food Chemistry.

The award recognizes and encourages outstanding contributions to pure and/or applied agricultural and food chemistry.

Cooperative Extension at N.C. A&T awarded community garden stipends

Bhowmik hemp research article published

Arnab Bhowmik, Ph.D.

The article “Hemp biochar impacts on selected biological soil health indicators across different soil types and moisture cycles,” by soil scientist Arnab Bhowmik, Ph.D., has been published in PLOS ONE, a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Public Library of Science.
