At fall commencement 2019, 89 undergraduates and 19 graduate students in the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences received their degrees at the Greensboro Coliseum on Saturday, Dec. 14.

Mohamed Ahmedna, dean of the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, has been named to Business N.C. magazine’s Power List in the agricultural area. The magazine lists N.C.’s most influential leaders in such categories as agriculture, economic development, life sciences, health care, media and communication, transportation and more.

Extension Exhibit Puts Kids on Speedway to Healthy

The way to a boy’s heart is through the stomach — at least in the case of 8-year-old Pablo Zuniga. That’s the pitstop at the Speedway to Healthy exhibit that Pablo, a student at Southwest Elementary School in Guilford County, enjoyed the most. “We were sorting foods (according to what’s healthy),” he said. “It was fun.”
