The College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences’ latest farming adventure isn’t just for researchers and established farmers or ranchers. At the Student and Community Farm, students can experience many types of agriculture and members of the community can have a safe place to grow food – and enjoy each others’ company. This joint project shares staff and faculty from the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Design and Cooperative Extension at N.C. A&T and is part of the 492-acre University Farm.
Landscape Architecture Project Honoring Esteemed Educator Brown Unveiled to Alumni
A two-year project by N.C. A&T’s landscape architecture students to commemorate renowned civil rights activist and educator Charlotte Hawkins Brown was unveiled recently before a group of friends, students and alumni of the school she founded.
