Bhowmik to Share Expertise at Earth Day Events

Arnab Bhowmik, an assistant professor in the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Design, will share his expertise in sustainable agriculture and greenhouse gas emissions during two Earth Day programs this week.
He will serve as a panelist following a virtual screening of the film โKiss the Ground,โ which describes the potential of regenerative agriculture to help address our climate crisis. The event, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, is hosted by Zero Waste NC. Register for the event through EventBrite.
Bhowmik also will be part of the universityโs Earth Day panel discussion โ โEnvironmental Justice, Equity and Sustainability: Earth Day Imperativesโ at noon Thursday, April 22. The event will feature opening remarks from CAES alumnus Michael S. Regan, administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency.
