It’s a quest to help her family and her community fight chronic illness. In a journey to promote better nutrition and implement strategies to combat food insecurity in the state of North Carolina, one of those stops includes North Carolina A&T State University, where she will be graduating with her master’s degree this fall.

Fifteen minutes. That’s how much time students from N.C. A&T State University and N.C. State University had to come up with a winning granola recipe at the Food Science Olympics, held Sept. 17 at the University Farm Pavilion.

N.C. A&T’s early childhood educational facility, the Chlld Development Laboratory, a part of the Dept. of Family and Consumer Sciences, has earned the highest marks from the state for a seventh straight year.
